The Journey Here

My journey to Graphic Design
My name is Cleo. I’m 28 and I grew up in a small seaside town called Larvik in Norway. I have always been a creative person so when the time came to choose what I wanted to study at University I went with Theatre and Drama in one of my favourite cities, London. After just a year I figured London was a lovely place to visit, but as a place of home it was far too busy. Instead I found another place in Britain which was the exact opposite of London, a place in Wales called Aberystwyth, a name even English people have problems pronouncing. Here is a secluded family/student town with all the small town cozyness and charm you can imagine. By the promonade you have an open seaview where strolling dogs are by the dozens and stopping to give fuss is obligatory. A dream come true.
I met my life partner here and continued my studies where I realised my interests in scenography and design rather than the stage. After finishing university my journey took me back to Norway where I did studies within both psychology and accountancy. After just two years we decided to move back to Aberystwyth, and this is where I now call home.
My interests in design has always been at the back of my head so this is why I now have decided to come back to this and study Graphic Design. I am really looking forward to learning new things and being creative and imaginative. This is what I hope to do as part of my everyday life.
